As FHI 360’s acting vice president of business development and partnerships, Bradi Newsome leads a global team accountable for every facet of business development, including advancing a strategic vision and cultivating partnerships with public and private sector entities. She orchestrates resource mobilization efforts, collaborates across the organization to showcase FHI 360’s technical and operational expertise, executes successful capture strategies, and crafts winning proposals.
Newsome has 20 years of experience in business development leadership and has partnered with government, multilateral, private and foundation clients. She has held several business development roles in business planning, market analysis, capture management, proposal management, strategic pricing, financial positioning, and portfolio management.
At FHI 360, which she joined in 2013, Newsome has piloted strategic teams focused on winning new business, managed global teams in support of opportunities across more than 60 countries with an annual pipeline of over US$3 billion, led corporate-level initiatives for organizational change management, and successfully negotiated and built relationships with new corporate and foundation clients. Before joining FHI 360, she worked for nonprofit, defense and pharmaceutical organizations including RTI, Battelle, Gilead Sciences and The Ohio State University.
Newsome has two bachelor’s degrees in finance and economics from Marshall University and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration at The Ohio State University.
