DURHAM, N.C. – FHI 360 has taken the difficult decision to furlough additional U.S. staff members, following previous staffing adjustments made in February. In total, 45% of our U.S. workforce, including more than 370 North Carolina residents are now affected. These decisions are the result of the continued freeze on U.S. foreign assistance, including programs covered under lifesaving waivers, but for which funds have yet to be made available. The organization extends our deepest gratitude to our talented and hard-working staff.
We remain dedicated to delivering the same high-quality, evidence-driven results that our public, private and philanthropic partners have come to expect from FHI 360.
